You’ll join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to addiction treatment, including therapists, psychologists, and behavioral health technicians, all focused on collaborative care. We utilize advanced telehealth technologies to ensure seamless communication and maintain a therapy-friendly environment, which is crucial in engaging effectively with our clients.

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' histories related to substance abuse and mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues, tailoring interventions to meet each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing recognized evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and cohesive care, participating in case reviews and collaborative treatment discussions.
• Provide education and ongoing support for clients’ families, actively involving them in the recovery process to enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring quality assurance and accountability.

This role primarily serves individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders, including those dealing with co-occurring mental health issues. Clients may range from early-stage individuals seeking initial support to those in various phases of recovery. Your expertise will empower them to develop coping mechanisms, overcome barriers, and achieve long-term sobriety.

• A valid and current professional license in mental health counseling (LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Specialized training or direct experience in addiction counseling and working with substance abuse populations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and accompanying mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including varying ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Previous telehealth experience is a plus, showcasing adaptability to virtual client interactions.
• Knowledge of community resources and aftercare programs to support clients post-treatment.
