• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, family dynamics, and the developmental stage of clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at a variety of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, enabling them to create a supportive home environment.
• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care that addresses the complex needs of young clients.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring that families feel safe and supported.
• Educate children, adolescents, and their families regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate in ongoing team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to stay updated on emerging practices and research.

This role specifically focuses on children and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work closely with young clients, fostering a therapeutic alliance that encourages openness and cooperation. Engaging with families is a key component of treatment, ensuring that all caregivers are informed and involved in the therapeutic process.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC in Nevada.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment practices.
• Proven experience delivering individual and family therapy to young patients, demonstrating a child-centered approach.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to form strong relationships with clients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and a variety of computer applications for efficient documentation and communication.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment that contributes to holistic care.

Candidates with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in providing mental health therapy, particularly with children and adolescents, are preferred. Experience utilizing specific therapeutic techniques such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or family systems therapy will be advantageous.
