Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to provide targeted evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to developmental stages and family dynamics.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address various mental health concerns, ensuring effective outcomes for young individuals.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing parental support systems and developing nurturing environments.
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary treatment strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, safeguarding the well-being of young patients.
• Educate families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to continually improve care practices.
• Engage in professional development and stay up-to-date with current research in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Silver Lining Counseling, LLC, you will primarily work with a diverse population of children and adolescents grappling with a spectrum of mental health challenges. This role emphasizes a tailored approach, focusing on building therapeutic relationships that foster healing and resilience in young individuals and their families.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities and a solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues.
• Experience in providing individual and family therapy to young populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate, child-centered approach.
• Capacity to develop rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families through active engagement.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation effectively.
• Ability to thrive as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, specifically working with children and adolescents.
• Proven track record of effectively implementing therapeutic interventions that lead to improved patient outcomes.
• Experience in dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including crisis situations.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 80,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
