• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, psychological challenges, and support needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building strategies that empower clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to guide patients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping mechanisms, and fostering a healing environment.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide holistic, integrated care that meets the diverse needs of our patients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and compassionate care.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to enhance their understanding and support network.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation as per legal, ethical, and practice standards to safeguard patient information.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster a culture of continuous improvement and trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices in trauma therapy through ongoing professional development and education.

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and those dealing with PTSD and complex trauma. The patients you support may be seeking therapeutic guidance to rebuild their lives, navigate relationships, and foster emotional resilience. Your expertise will play a vital role in their journey toward healing.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Florida.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, demonstrating effective therapeutic practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic approach.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in high-stress situations, providing clients with stability and reassurance.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and various digital communication tools.
• A proven ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Experience implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively and empathetically.
• Background working within a telehealth framework is highly desirable.
• Prior experience engaging with diverse populations and cultural competency in addressing the unique challenges faced by trauma survivors.
