Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting through our telehealth platform, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your home. While your standard working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate patient needs. As a Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote emotional well-being.
• Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.
• Providing crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating skills in maintaining calm under pressure.
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for support.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Participating in case consultations and team meetings to facilitate a shared understanding of patient care and discuss relevant developments in trauma-informed practices.
• Keeping abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy methodologies to ensure the highest standard of care.

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, accidents, and other distressing events. This role emphasizes a deep understanding of trauma and its long-lasting effects, and your work will directly contribute to fostering hope and resilience within this vulnerable population.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and contemporary computer applications to facilitate effective patient care.
• The ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to cohesive care delivery.

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions that meet the complex needs of our patients.
