Position Overview

Noble Counseling, LLC is actively looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team. This full-time, remote position entails providing specialized mental health care focused on trauma recovery for individuals facing challenges such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to facilitate healing and foster resilience in our clients, making a significant impact on their mental well-being.

Our outpatient telehealth practice prioritizes delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health care to diverse populations in Atlanta, Georgia, and surrounding areas. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our clients receive top-quality care through telehealth platforms. We operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment approaches.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience-building through collaboration with other mental health professionals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping clients process traumatic experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies when necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources for support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
  • Partake in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your work will be with individuals affected by trauma. This includes but is not limited to survivors of abuse, veterans dealing with PTSD, and individuals experiencing complex trauma. By addressing a spectrum of trauma-related disorders, you will play a crucial role in their healing process, guiding them toward recovery and stability.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
  • A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling with a focus on trauma therapy.
