This full-time remote position will focus on the provision of trauma-informed therapy to individuals showing symptoms of trauma, enabling them to navigate their recovery. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, providing you with the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a significant impact from wherever you choose to work. Your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate the needs of our patients. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments focusing on trauma history and symptoms to inform individualized treatment planning.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that empower clients in their journey toward trauma recovery and resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integrated care for our clients.
• Offer crisis intervention during emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate support when needed.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding and facilitating their recovery.
• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development initiatives and case consultations to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in trauma treatment methodologies and best practices to ensure the highest standard of care.

Our patients are primarily trauma survivors seeking help to overcome significant psychological challenges. They come from diverse backgrounds with varying degrees of trauma severity, including but not limited to victims of violence, abuse, and military veterans. You will be instrumental in creating customized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, fostering a sense of safety and trust essential for effective therapy.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a trauma-focused setting.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
• Skilled in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that promote client resilience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to manage stress effectively and maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in computer applications vital for documentation and communication.
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

• At least two years of clinical experience working specifically with trauma survivors.
• Advanced training or certifications in EMDR or TF-CBT.
• Experience in a community health clinic or similar healthcare setting.
