Summary: Advanced interior designer with a professional degree in Interior Design, leads larger or multiple projects with the development of design solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project.
  • Leads the management and development of less experienced Interior Designers.
  • Liaison with Project Manager, Architects, Engineers, and consultants.
  • Develops and represents the lead technical viewpoint on projects.
  • Coordinates with Director on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
  • Plans and designs interior design aspects of large or multiple projects by developing appropriate concepts and approaches.
  • Maintains client and external project team member communication for efficient project management.
  • Provides subject matter expertise on specific components of Interior Design.
  • Available to travel, as needed, dependent upon specific project assignments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited college or university
  • 8+ years' experience in the field of Interior Design.
  • Active NCIDQ Certification preferred or testing in process.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (or 3D modeling), rendering software (PhotoShop, SketchUp), scheduling software, specification software, and standard business software (MSOffice, Adobe suite, Google docs).
  • Continuing education relevant for position.
