Your Role as a Leader:


  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of civil structural engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Technical Oversight: Prepare engineering deliverables such as calculations, designs and specifications for reinforced concrete foundations and metal substation structures, working closely with a team of designers and drafters.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet ASCE 113 and other industry standards while upholding SECo’s reputation for excellence.
  • Latest Technology: Utilize MathCAD, STAAD, LPILE, Bluebeam, Vault and more!


What You'll Bring to the Team:


  • Experience: 10+ years in civil structural engineering, with a strong focus on substations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with coursework in structural design and analysis.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead projects while managing multiple priorities.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in structural analysis software (MathCAD, STAAD, LPILE or similar), as well as expertise in concrete foundations and steel structures.
  • Professional Licensure: PE preferred (or ability to obtain).
