Northern Health System Counseling, PLLC is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in New Castle, Colorado. This position is primarily a remote role, providing you with the flexibility to manage your time effectively while remaining an integral part of our healthcare team focused on substance detoxification and mental health. The detox center is designed to provide a safe, confidential space for clients undergoing withdrawal symptoms and mental health crises. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our clients receive respectful and competent care.

• Conduct direct clinical assessments of clients experiencing symptoms related to major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to establish care goals and strategies, ensuring that all team members are aligned in their approach to client care.
• Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, ensuring seamless access to linked services.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including brief, focused treatment sessions, crisis interventions, and ongoing support for clients and their families.
• Facilitate and document individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapted to the requirements of the individual client’s treatment journey.
• Perform consistent evaluations of clients’ progress, updating care plans as necessary based on clinical assessments and client feedback.
• Address and identify any unsafe situations, utilizing appropriate procedures to ensure a safe physical and emotional environment for clients.
• Engage in the completion of timely documentation and necessary reporting to fulfill regulatory requirements.
• Be available for on-call coverage as needed to support clients after standard therapeutic hours.

The primary focus of this role is on clients at a detox center who are experiencing withdrawal symptoms from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will assist individuals in accessing the necessary resources and care to support their recovery, emphasizing trust, empowerment, and a person-centered approach.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, and a current LCSW certification are required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health or substance use treatment is essential.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapies and recovery-oriented principles is necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate with the care team.
• An ability to work independently while also being an effective team player in a remote setting.

• Experience in a detox or residential treatment setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
• Familiarity with integrated healthcare systems and community resources that facilitate client recovery.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
