Gaspar's Construction is seeking a talented "bags on" Remodel Project Lead to join our team!

The Remodel Project Lead is responsible for leading the daily job-site production of home remodeling projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. This hands-on role supervises Gaspar's personnel and subcontractors, manages schedules, resolves challenges, and performs skilled carpentry and construction tasks. As the on-site leader, you will maintain safety standards, coordinate with the Production Manager, and deliver projects that exceed expectations. This position will also maintain field records (jobsite binder and lead packet) for all assigned projects, including receipts for materials and equipment delivered to the jobsite.

What you'll do
  • Project Oversight: Ensure all construction activities align with project plans, permit requirements, and estimates.
  • Hands-On Execution: Perform demolition, rough and finish carpentry, and assist the crew as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor Gaspar's team members and subcontractors, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Schedule Management: Maintain and update production schedules, report changes, and coordinate inspections and client meetings.
  • Quality Control: Deliver all phases of construction to or above industry standards, ensuring a 100% completion and satisfaction rate.
  • Safety Compliance: Conduct weekly safety inspections and enforce adherence to company and industry safety guidelines.
  • Client Satisfaction: Address client concerns promptly, enhancing the company's reputation for excellence in the community. Lead weekly client check-in meetings.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized jobsite documentation, including lead packets, receipts, and safety logs.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on residential construction with advanced carpentry skills and prior supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Expertise in framing, windows, doors, siding, cabinetry, and finish carpentry; basic knowledge of subcontractor phases. Reading blueprints.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage jobsite operations, and resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Lead, and OSHA-10, certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Competencies: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have current driver's license, auto insurance and submit a background check and drug test.
  • Must live within 30 miles of Seattle.
