Nuclear Medicine Technologist Full-Time Peoria, IL

Several leading healthcare facilities in the Peoria, IL area and surrounding areas is actively seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their imaging department. Competitive Pay Peoria, IL + Surrounding Cities Permanent Placement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following strict safety protocols
  • Operate imaging equipment such as SPECT, PET/CT, and gamma cameras
  • Monitor patients and ensure comfort during procedures
  • Accurately document findings and support physician diagnosis

Required Qualifications (Ohio):

  • Current ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification (or eligibility)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality control procedures
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Recent graduates welcome (must meet clinical training requirements)
