Job Duties
  • Under general direction, serves as Project Manager for assigned Real Estate Services projects, including the design, construction, renovation, expansion, consolidation, relocation, or replacement of company offices, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, service centers, and site infrastructure assets.
  • Leads projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, execution, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Develops and manages project scope, schedule, budget, and execution strategies to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and effectively communicates project status, risks, issues, and decision requirements to business leaders and management.
  • Coordinates internal stakeholders, engineering disciplines, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to achieve project objectives.
  • Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and scope changes while developing practical solutions to maintain project objectives.
  • Evaluates alternatives, challenges assumptions when appropriate, and develops recommendations to support informed decisions regarding project scope, schedule, cost, and execution strategy.
  • Supports capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, project approvals, and financial stewardship activities related to assigned projects.
  • Ensures projects comply with company standards, safety requirements, permitting requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Job role has budgetary accountability.
Qualifications
  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, project management, business administration, or a related discipline and a minimum of five years of experience managing facility construction, renovation, infrastructure, or capital improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risk, stakeholder management, and project execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects with minimal supervision and independently drive decisions, actions, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with executives, facility leaders, technical teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate alternatives, challenge assumptions, interpret project data, and make sound business recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles including scope, schedule, cost, risk, change, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with industrial, manufacturing, energy, corporate office, warehouse, or service center facility projects is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus, but not required. Equivalent project management training and demonstrated project management experience will also be considered.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Real Estate Project Coordinator, Senior Real Estate Project Coordinator, or Lead Real Estate Project Coordinator.
