We are looking for a Family Medicine physician, ideally with 2 or more years of experience to join Colorado Mountain Medical. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to adult patients, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of health conditions. As an integral part of our clinic, you will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and promote health and wellness within the community. Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3 years of directly related experience which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty.
  • Degree from an accredited program
  • Professional licensure - M.D. or D.O.
  • Current Colorado license in good standing, required
  • Federal DEA certification; Medical Specialty license or certification; Board certified or Board eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff office credentialing and privileges required

What you will do:
  • Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.
  • Prescribes or administers pharmaceuticals, other medications, immunizations, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Provides health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Monitors patients' conditions and progress, re-evaluating treatments, and explains procedures and test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • May manage the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
  • As appropriate to the position, participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs.
