Job description

Job Details:

This position will require relocation to one of our production facilities throughout the United States.

SUMMARY:

This position offers hands-on training across various operational accounting roles within the Poultry segment, providing exposure to both Poultry Live Production Accounting and Poultry Plant Accounting.

The program includes approximately nine months of experience in Complex and/or Plant Accounting operations at one of our field locations (outside of Corporate). This training is designed to prepare the team member for a future accounting role within our operations accounting area, including responsibilities for financial closing and reporting, supervisory duties, and a comprehensive understanding of the business from multiple operational perspectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.

  • Experience: 6+ month's work experience preferred but not required.

  • Computer Skills: Requires standard computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office applications. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). SAP experience will be a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal skills.

  • Special Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment; using good judgement to complete tasks; ability to set priorities and coordinate with others.

  • Supervisory: None

  • Travel: 1 or more trips peryear.
