As an LCSW at Evolve Social Work Center, you will:

• Provide individual psychotherapy to clients, employing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mental health concerns related to substance abuse.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use issues, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of clients in their recovery journey.
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical records while adhering to all state and national regulations regarding patient privacy and care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and ensure holistic and comprehensive treatment for every client.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources and coping strategies to support recovery.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in substance abuse treatment, integrating these findings into clinical practice.
• Manage a full caseload, setting and meeting treatment goals while upholding the highest ethical standards in your practice.

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients facing substance use disorders. Each individual will carry their unique story and struggles, and your role will focus on empowering them through evidence-based treatment and personalized care plans. You will support clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that culturally sensitive practices are implemented to address their specific needs.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience, particularly in substance abuse treatment environments.
• Strong understanding of solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within a team-oriented setting.

While the minimum required experience is one year, we prefer candidates with more extensive backgrounds in substance abuse therapy, particularly those already versed in various therapeutic methodologies and treatment frameworks. Experience in remote therapy environments and familiarity with telehealth technology is an advantage.
