What is a Relocation Package Pharmacist?

A Relocation Package Pharmacist is a licensed pharmacist who is offered a relocation package by an employer to move to a new geographic location for work. Join a leading national pharmaceutical services provider and the largest manager of pharmaceutical samples in the U.S. We are seeking an exceptional Pharmacy Manager to be a pivotal operational and clinical leader at our very clean facility. You will be instrumental in overseeing fulfillment operations, ensuring regulatory excellence, and driving strategic initiatives, especially as the organization navigates an exciting phase of rebranding and restructuring. This is a high-impact role that goes beyond the traditional Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) duties, focusing on operational scalability and team development.

What You'll Do (Core Focus & Responsibilities):

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), maintaining all regulatory and licensure standards for a 50-state pharmacy operation.
  • Lead daily pharmacy operations in a high-volume fulfillment environment, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Manage and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Board of Pharmacy requirements.
  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing fulfillment workflows and inventory management in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee patient management, including establishing delivery services, developing clinical monitoring programs, and coordinating care with nurses/physicians.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance pharmacy services and operational scalability.

What You'll Bring (Requirements):

  • Education: Bachelor of Science of Pharmacy (BSPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a pharmacy operations or fulfillment/production environment. Proven leadership experience with direct reports is required.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state where the pharmacy is located. Must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, additional multi-state licenses to support 50-state operations. MUST have Indiana and Kentucky licenses, and possession of a Florida license is a strong plus. Needs to get additional licenses within 3-6 months of hire.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, proficiency in clinical interpretation (drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interaction, allergies), and excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Perks:

  • Salary Range: $130,000 – $185,000.
  • Licensing Incentive: $1,200 annual incentive for each state license held as Pharmacist-in-Charge.
  • Relocation: Relocation assistance is offered
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and 401K.
