• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health and substance use needs of each client.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with their goals for recovery and personal growth.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and adjust treatment plans as necessary for holistic care.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to maintain client confidentiality.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and remain current with best practices in mental health treatment.

As a Mental Health Counselor at our organization, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with addiction and substance misuse. Your role will involve providing immediate support to those in crisis, conducting trauma interventions, managing emotional crises, and implementing suicide prevention strategies. You will serve a diverse range of clients, including those facing dual diagnosis issues, clients with histories of trauma, and individuals seeking a renewed path in life.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Current, independent LMHC license to practice in Washington State.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting clinical assessments and developing customized treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication.

• Experience in addiction therapy and substance abuse counseling is preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches.
• Previous experience in crisis intervention settings is a plus.
