Job description

Software Engineer

A growing company in a Microsoft technology environment is hiring three software engineers to build and support enterprise web and mobile applications, with a real focus on modernization — migrating legacy apps to current frameworks and technologies. Three seats span mid-level through senior/lead, so there's room for strong hands-on builders and for someone ready to provide technical direction and mentor a team.

What You'll Work On

  • Design, develop, and support enterprise web and mobile applications within a Microsoft technology environment
  • Participate in modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy applications to current frameworks and technologies
  • Develop and maintain database-driven applications on Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies
  • Build and consume APIs and integrations with internal and external systems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing applications and systems

Role Variations

  • Software Engineer (mid-level): hands-on development across web and mobile, database-driven apps, APIs/integrations, and legacy modernization.
  • Senior / Lead Engineer: the above, plus establishing development standards and best practices, contributing to architecture decisions, mentoring and coaching engineers, code reviews, requirements gathering, and project planning / technical estimation / delivery oversight across multiple initiatives — working directly with executive leadership to shape technical direction.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–15 years of experience
  • Strong C#/.NET application development
  • Modern JavaScript frameworks and front-end web technologies
  • Application development against Microsoft SQL Server environments
  • Familiarity with ORM / data-access technologies
  • Mobile application development experience (Flutter preferred)
  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications
  • No degree required
  • Nashville-local; partially remote; no relocation, no sponsorship

Why It's a Great Opportunity:

Meaningful work with visible impact · strong career-growth path · collaborative team culture · competitive comp and benefits · flexibility and work-life balance. For senior/lead hires: lead strategic initiatives, influence key business decisions, and help shape the organization's direction.
