Job description

ROTA Nanny - Semi - Formal Family in San Francisco, CA
A formal family is seeking an experienced, flexible, and professional ROTA Nanny to provide exceptional care for three children (ages 8, 2, and a newborn arriving soon). The 8-year-old is in the home part-time. A baby nurse will be in place for the newborn's first four months. This is a fully staffed household, and you will work collaboratively with a team of four ROTA nannies, always paired with a co-nanny during your rotation.
Schedule
  • 1 week on / 1 week off
  • Live-in during working rotation (Accommodations: Private room/bath and rotate to apartment across the street)
  • Relocation assistance to CA may be considered for the right candidate. Will not hire fly-in/fly-out candidates.
  • Flexibility for occasional domestic and international travel is required
  • Valid U.S. passport required
Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize the children's safety and provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for all children.
  • Prepare children for school and daily activities, including dressing, breakfast, and packing school or activity essentials.
  • Maintain children's daily routines, schedules, and consistency in care.
  • Support developmental milestones through age-appropriate creative play and engaging activities.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
  • Drive children to activities and run general errands.
  • Maintain children's spaces, including bedrooms, play areas, and cleaning up after meals and activities.
  • Manage children's wardrobe, supplies, and inventory.
  • Pack and unpack children's belongings for travel.
  • Follow established household checklists, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Communicate effectively and work seamlessly with co-nannies, parents, and household staff to ensure consistent care.
Ideal Candidate/Requirments
  • Professional, discreet, organized, and highly team-oriented.
  • Experienced working in fully staffed, formal households.
  • 10 + years of experience caring for children including infants and toddlers.
  • Must have ROTA and live-in experience.
  • Verified professional references.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing family needs.
  • Experience with international travel.
  • Longevity in their previous roles.
  • Willing to sign an NDA and pass an extensive background check.
  • Driver's license in good standing.
  • Current vaccinations: MMR, Tdap, annual flu and covid
