Position Overview

We are hiring Armed Security Guards to support a U.S. Government emergency response site in Maui, Hawaii. This is a full-time, ground-based assignment requiring professional, licensed armed personnel to secure government-managed facilities and

infrastructure in Lahaina and the surrounding area. Applicants must already be based in Hawaii or self-relocating, as no travel or lodging reimbursement is provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide armed security at a U.S. Government facility in an emergency operations zone
  • Monitor site access and enforce credentialing procedures
  • Patrol and protect critical assets, infrastructure, and supply routes
  • Respond to incidents, threats, or suspicious activity professionally and efficiently
  • Complete security logs and detailed incident reports
  • Coordinate with local authorities and federal representatives as needed
  • Maintain a strong, composed presence in disaster-affected environments


Assignment Details

  • Location: Lahaina / Maui, HI (government-designated operations area)
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: F/T, annually with possibility of extension


Compensation Package

  • Hourly Rate: Up to $55/hr, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts (rotating days/nights), 5โ€“6 days per week
  • Bonuses: $1,000 quarterly retention bonus

Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements

  • Active Hawaii State Firearms Permit
  • Location-Specific Authorization for Maui Assignment
  • Valid Hawaii Armed Guard Card
  • Minimum age 21
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clean criminal background and drug test
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
  • Physically capable of working 12-hour shifts in outdoor settings


Preferred Experience

  • Military, law enforcement, or federal government contract experience
  • Prior deployment to disaster/emergency zones
  • FEMA ICS/NIMS training (100, 200, or 700)
  • CPR/First Aid certified
  • Public Trust, Secret, or TS/SCI security clearance (current or prior)
