Full Stack Java Developer (Hybrid Onsite)

Location: Westlake, TX, Durham, NC, Merrimack, NH or Smithfield, RI

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Note: Relocation is allowed

Pay Rate: $60/hr on W2

Job Description

Strong expertise in Java and hands-on experience building enterprise-scale, cloud-ready distributed systems. Specifically Java, backend engineering, Springboot, Angular, Kafka

Proficiency with Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development

Experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems

Solid understanding of domain driven design utilizing object-oriented programming principles, secure coding, and best engineering practices

Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating event-driven systems using Apache Kafka

Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and AWS

Experience with Angular 17+, along with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and RxJS

Exposure to front-end testing frameworks (PlayWright, Cypress) is a plus

Understand how to deliver using an Acceptance Test Driven development (ATDD) approach

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy or equivalent)
