About therole

TheCook 4 is a developing line cook who supports station operations while beginning to execute simpler dishes during service. This role focuses onspeed development, improved knife work, early multitasking, and understanding temperature control.

What you will do

  • Can perform basic cooking methods: sauteing vegetables, shallow frying, simple sauces.

  • Successfully & consistentlymaintaina minimum3-5 simultaneous fires

  • Starts applying miseenplace planning: organizing station,anticipatingneeds.

  • Capable of successful navigationof business demandsand prioritization during rush periods.

  • Assistsstation cooks and executes lowerrisk dishes during slower services.

  • Sets backups, replenishes the line,prepscore items.

  • Assists Cook 3-1 staff with replenishing stations, handing off hot items, and completing shared prep.
