POSITION DESCRIPTION: Plant Manager Trainee – Animal Feed

Position Title: Plant Manager Trainee Classification: Exempt, Department: Operations - Reports to: CEO/Owner

Position Summary: Manages company plant operations with emphasis on overall manufacturing processes.  Will provide oversight to manufacturing, shipping, receiving, maintenance and quality. Will provide production with planning and procurement support. Provides Business oversight to CEO/Owner.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

o    Provides support and direction of production, warehouse, and maintenance team

o    Provides oversight into business operations.

o    Provides direct oversight of Plant Food Safety Program

o    Provides direct support to CEO

o    Basic computer knowledge

o    Maintains a clean work environment

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

o    Self-Driven is a MUST

o    Ability to multitask

o    5 years manufacturing

o    Basic math skills

o    Manufacturing Safety Programs

o    High School Diploma or equivalent

o    Use of Excel and Word

o    Timely and predictable attendance is a requirement

o    Schedule can be flexible (with approval) as long as daily duties are met
