To thrive as an Injection Molding Technician, you need a solid understanding of plastics processing, mechanical aptitude, and often a high school diploma or technical certification. Familiarity with injection molding machines, quality control systems, and troubleshooting tools is typically required, along with certifications such as RJG or Paulson Training. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are vital soft skills for ensuring efficient production and collaboration with team members.
