Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Our DFA/Kemps Dairy has an immediate job opening for a Materials Expeditor to compile and maintain inventory and status information to expedite movement of materials according to schedule and
priorities.

JOB DUTIES

  • Read schedules and inventory reports to determine type and quantity required, availability of stock, and order priority
  • Repack products based on order requirements
  • Proactively interact and communicate inter and intra-departmentally to ensure consistent and efficient work flow
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
  • Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Vacation Relief - provide relief when needed for various schedules
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all State and Federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
