Function in the Job
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function
  • Document and report inventory location changes according to specified procedures.
  • Assemble customer orders according to work orders and procedures.
  • Document, tag & paint inventory received according to specified procedures.
  • Record pertinent material information on to work orders or other forms as specified by local procedure.
  • Special projects as specified by management.
  • Performance of other Warehouse or Processing / Maintenance Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies & procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform daily pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition; report and communicate any defects, concerns or maintenance needs.
  • Recognize and report potential hazards or unsafe conditions in the work area to supervision.
  • Maintain professional communication with other operators, supervisors, & departments as necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Experience in an industrial setting preferred
