We are seeking an experienced AI Manager to lead the delivery of AI and automation initiatives across the organization. This role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that AI-driven solutions are effectively defined, delivered, and scaled to achieve measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills with an understanding of AI, data, and automation technologies. The AI manager will design and develop scalable solutions using AI tools and machine learning models. Leads a team that is responsible for the scalability, reliability, and performance of AI systems. Monitors the development and execution of performance tests on AI systems that measure their efficiency in handling large amounts of data, complex algorithms, and processing speeds to ensure optimal performance.

This role is critical to ensure that AI initiatives move beyond experimentation into scalable, value-driven solutions by combining disciplined project management with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Program Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives from concept through deployment and scaling
  • Define scope, timelines, milestones, and success criteria for projects and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
  • Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution
  • Ensure delivery aligns with organizational priorities and strategic objectives
  • Directly manage 3-5 AI Analysts ensuring they are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes setting performance targets, monitoring progress, encouraging collaboration, open communication, and providing regular feedback to team members.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, AI/technical teams, and external partners
  • Coordinate efforts across subject matter experts, data engineers, AI engineers, and vendors
  • Drive alignment on requirements, priorities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure clear communication and accountability across all stakeholders

Business Analysis & Requirements Definition

  • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for AI and automation use cases
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
  • Support solution design by ensuring alignment with business processes and expected outcomes

POC Execution & Delivery Governance

  • Lead structured rapid POC cycles (design → build → test → validate)
  • Ensure active business participation and timely decision-making during execution
  • Measure outcomes against defined success criteria
  • Facilitate transition of successful POCs into production-ready solutions

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate governance meetings and decision forums
  • Ensure transparency around progress, risks, and expected value realization

Value Realization & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with business teams to define and track KPIs and ROI for AI initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and scale deployed solutions
  • Incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives and delivery processes

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, qualifications, and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Program Management
  • Experience working with AI, data analytics, or automation solutions
  • Proven experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
  • Management/supervisory experience

Preferred Qualification

  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors or technology partners
  • Understanding of enterprise systems integration (ERP, WMS, finance, or similar platforms)
  • PMP, CBAP, or equivalent certification

Work Environment/ Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional, open office environment with frequent interruptions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and smartphones.

Must spend long hours in intense concentration. May need to position oneself to move between tight, high, or low spaces. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally move throughout a warehouse environment, including standing and walking for extended periods. Seeing abilities required by this job include detecting/identifying/recognizing/inspecting objects close to the employee, within a distance, peripherally, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
