How you'll make an impact:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Ad Technology to lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives across Ads Engineering. This role is critical to driving execution of high-impact programs spanning serving systems, data platforms, monetization workflows, and cross-domain integrations with Pandora and broader SiriusXM systems. The TPM will partner closely with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficient delivery while strengthening prioritization, dependency management, and execution rigor across teams.

This is an individual contributor role requiring strong technical depth, systems thinking, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will proactively identify and mitigate systemic risks across architecture, infrastructure, and data flows to safeguard platform reliability and delivery outcomes. Success in this role will enable AdsWizz to scale globally through the delivery of robust, high-performance advertising platform capabilities that directly support monetization and business growth.

What you'll do:

Program Leadership & Execution:
  • Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale Ads Engineering initiatives, from intake through launch.
  • Define program structure, milestones, interdependencies, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate across multiple engineering teams to ensure cohesive execution across ad-serving systems, data pipelines, and platform services.
  • Lead cross-domain program reviews and executive updates.
Strategic Alignment & Decision Support:
  • Partner with engineering and product leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business impact and technical feasibility.
  • Clearly articulate tradeoffs, risks, and execution options to support fast, informed decision-making.
  • Influence roadmap alignment across Ads, Pandora, and related domains.
Technical Depth & Systems Thinking:
  • Apply strong architectural literacy to evaluate system design implications and cross-team dependencies.
  • Review technical designs, challenge assumptions, and proactively identify downstream impacts.
  • Anticipate long-term platform risks and scalability constraints.
Operational Excellence:
  • Drive improvements in intake, prioritization, and release processes using tools such as Jira.
  • Enhance transparency around delivery status, risks, and cross-team dependencies.
  • Establish scalable program management best practices across Ads Engineering.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Serve as the connective layer between Engineering, Product, Quality, Operations, and external stakeholders.
  • Support launch planning, operational readiness, and post-launch learnings.
  • Provide clear escalation pathways to remove execution blockers quickly.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in advertising technology, including familiarity with ad-serving systems, real-time bidding, monetization platforms, data pipelines, and analytics systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and large-scale platform architecture.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs with multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience driving delivery across tightly coupled systems with complex interdependencies.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tooling such as Jira to manage engineering workflows. Experience in digital audio or media platforms.
  • Experience managing vendor or third-party technology integrations.
  • Experience operating in high-availability, real-time systems environments.
  • Exposure to global or multi-region engineering organizations.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $137,800 to $170,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
