Job Description The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and developing the maintenance organization within a fast-paced food or beverage manufacturing facility. This role oversees all maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing up time, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has substantial experience managing large teams in a production environment and is committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a large maintenance team, including supervisors, technicians, and support staff. Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and optimal plant performance. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support operational goals. Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, spare parts inventory, and capital projects. Ensure compliance with all food safety, regulatory, and safety standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and equipment upgrades. Analyze maintenance performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement. Job Requirements Proven experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing. Strong background in managing large, diverse maintenance teams. Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in manufacturing. Demonstrated success implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
