Reliability Engineer
This position is 100% onsite located in Houston, TX, with the option to work onsite from our Florida location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct reliability analysis, including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and guidelines for reliability engineering (e.g., MIL-HDBK-217, SAE JA1000).
- Identify and document potential failure causes for each postulated failure mode.
- Describe the worstโcase failure effects for each failure mode in FMEA.
- Include an assessment of system/subsystem interfaces within the element, between elements, and with the payload and ground systems in FMEA.
- Describe how the occurrence of the failure mode can be directly or indirectly detected during each applicable mission phase in FMEA.
- Consider mission timeline events, as a minimum, when documenting failure modes and effects in FMEA.
- Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for reliabilityโrelated issues.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education
- Only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.

- Must possess a valid, unexpired Real IDโcompliant driverโs license or stateโissued identification card at the time of hire.
- 10 or more years of experience in Reliability Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA).
- Experience using modelโbased systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo, Teamcenter, etc.).
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education
- Masterโs degree in a related field.
- Experience in the aerospace, defense, or automotive industries.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
- Familiarity with MBSE Cameo.
- Certification in reliability engineering (e.g., Certified Reliability Engineer - CRE).
