Role Overview:
The Software Engineer Level 2 will provide critical support for business applications and systems used by Hyundai/Kia Motors Manufacturing and Glovis in West Point, Georgia. This role focuses on responding to production issues, implementing immediate resolutions, and contributing to ongoing system development and maintenance. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensure system reliability, and support continuous operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain application changes to support business operations and system stability.
  • Configure system hardware and software to meet operational requirements and optimize performance.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and functional documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and various business units to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Identify system issues or enhancement needs affecting production, troubleshoot root causes, and implement corrective solutions.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in application development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS and Full-stack JavaScript such as Node.JS, Vue.JS
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL and experience troubleshooting database-related issues.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to deliver customer-focused support.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Angular or React.
  • Experience with Java/JSP to connect BD
  • Experience with Visual Studio (C#)
  • Prior large-scale or enterprise application development experience.
  • Experience with Oracle (PL/SQL)
  • Oracle certifications (OCAJP or Oracle SQL).
  • Experience creating documentation such as business requirements, process flows, and status reports.

Salary range: $65,950 to $94,300 (depending on experience offered)
