Job description

Toyo Tires of North America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our Maintenance and Engineering department. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Reliability Engineer will play a crucial role in improving equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance programs, and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Maintenance Program Management: Develop and manage programs aimed at improving equipment reliability, including predictive maintenance, lubrication management, PM optimization, and precision maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Collaborate with production staff to identify and troubleshoot equipment-related issues. Develop action plans to address identified problems and improve reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively pursue new processes, techniques, and technologies to optimize equipment reliability and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Predictive Maintenance Oversight: Oversee the predictive maintenance program, encompassing vibration analysis, ultrasound analysis, thermal imaging, and oil analysis. Ensure timely and accurate data collection.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support for Predictive downtime Maintenance (PdM) technicians. Assess the skills of PdM technicians and identify areas for improvement. Offer training opportunities to address skill gaps and enhance overall team proficiency.
  • Reliability Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in reliability engineering.
  • Pdm Routes: Assist Pdm technicians in setting up predictive maintenance routes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Asset Management: Develop and implement strategies for effective asset management, including spare parts inventory management and lifecycle planning.
