As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape upcoming products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple’s customers every day!
Our RF Systems Engineering team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated individual to work on overall system performance of multi-radio coexistence for various wireless technologies (e.g., Cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, GPS, UWB, NFC).
Description
You will be responsible for assessing platform-level multi-radio coexistence performance, including:
- Working with cross-functional partners to assess the multi-radio coexistence performance impact to the end user.
- Working with wireless software partners to design the software mitigation scheme, assess the trade-offs and implementation path.
- Bring-up device-under-test, setups and test procedures for multi-radio coexistence performance studies.
- Analyze wireless logs to understand field usage patterns and incorporate these learnings to perform controlled bench performance studies for multi-radio coexistence.
- Proposing HW/SW design and process changes for multi-radio coexistence issues considering design constraints and align with cross-functional partners on trade-offs and implementation path.
- Execution of validation & characterization test plans to meet multi-radio coexistence performance targets.
- Tracking validation status, analyze results and communicate insight from data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners for circuit-level, system-level simulations to understand risk areas and root cause issues.","responsibilities":"Assess multi-radio coexistence user impact across Apple platforms by conducting performance characterization at the RF/wireless system level.
Work with cross-functional partners to define product-level coexistence performance specifications and align on use-cases, test methodology & key performance metrics.
Work with analytics team to gather usage statistics to understand prevalence of coexistence issues in the field.
Collaborate cross-functionally with field team to design experiments & analyze field logs to demonstrate end-user performance impact.
