Relationship Banker

Job Duties:

The Relationship Banker is responsible for conducting front line cash drawer transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Also responsible for maintaining existing relationships and generating new relationships and servicing of all specific branch deposit products and services. This individual will work with the operations and CRM Trainers to achieve the Bank’s goals in the areas of deposit growth, business relationship growth, and consumer relationship growth including helping the other Relationship Associates and Relationship Bankers achieve CRM success and meeting personal goals for the Bank and themselves. The RB is responsible for providing operational support and notifying the Data Center if issues arise. Exceptional customer service while maintaining essential controls and safeguards, is mandatory. Provides a complete range of customer services at the Bank, explaining available financial institution products and services, and refer customer information to other UBs or Loan Officers to process new and existing deposit and loan accounts.

  • Assist customers with internet banking, mobile banking, bill pay and e-statements, change of passwords etc.
  • Answer the phone
  • Works well with the Data Center and Proof
  • Runs a cash drawer and balances with little if any outages
  • Ensure all bank employees reporting to the UB follows bank policies and procedures
  • Comply with all internal security procedures
  • Maintain complete confidentiality always both with customer and employee information
  • Provide support and carry out necessary duties for the front-line employees
  • Vault responsibilities, including ATM and night depository
  • Scan work as needed
  • Work at any of the five branches when needed
  • Research and resolve issues as well as respond to all customer inquiries
  • Maintaining and expanding existing bank relationships
  • Listen for possible referrals for other products and services and refer business when available
  • Assist with training of new or less experienced staff members
  • Represents the financial institution in community affairs and civic organizations
  • Volunteers at Bank events for at least 8 hours a year
  • Complete all work with top level accuracy and on set time frames
  • Comply Banking regulations
