Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Sales / Relationship Management Associate to support the firmโ€™s distribution efforts and deepen relationships across our intermediary and institutional client base. This individual will partner closely with the sales and client services teams to drive asset growth, enhance client engagement, and deliver a best-in-class experience to consultants, financial advisors, RIAs, and institutional investors.

The ideal candidate will have 3โ€“5 years of relevant experience within asset management or wealth management, strong capital markets knowledge, and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive client relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain existing relationships by providing SIMG updates and information to Institutional Consultants, RIA and other relationships on a regular basis.
  • Helps identify new business opportunities, upcoming product searches, and works closely with sales team members to further develop these opportunities.
  • Ensure client servicing needs are met by providing monthly, quarterly and other reporting needs based on the clientโ€™s requirements. Compile and verify accuracy of client reports, ensure all reporting requirements and investment guidelines are met, deliver client reporting statements in a timely manner and in the clientโ€™s preferred format.
  • Assist with the creation, maintenance and distribution of marketing materials for separately managed accounts including commentaries, fact sheets, brochures, PowerPoint, etc. Assist with the compilation and formatting of all information contained therein.
  • Manages the process for developing and optimizing our marketing message and brand identity, including ways to improve our digital presence in social media to widen our reach.
  • Understand SIMGโ€™s investment strategies in detail (philosophy/process) in order to speak to clients and prospect relationships about the investment services offered by SIMG.
  • Assist in production Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, Due Diligence Questionnaires and industry databases.
  • Performs various competitor and product landscape research.
  • Plans and executes certain communications, due diligence (onsite and offsite) as required.
  • Manages the digital marketing calendar ensuring a cadence of communication.
  • Work with SIMG specific systems and software to generate reports and provide analysis, reporting and marketing of SIMG products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in asset management or wealth management (internal sales, client service, relationship management, or a similar role).
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of capital markets and investment products.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action.
