What You Will Do

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with assigned customers, ensuring timely and professional communication regarding order status, inquiries, and expediting requests.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (scheduling, engineering, production) to ensure accurate understanding of customer specifications and to facilitate on-time, complete shipments.
  • Reviews reports regularly to support order entry and maintain adherence to standard lead times, assisting with color chip sample requests and acknowledgments of customer orders.
  • Provides daily support to Order Entry Specialists and Account Managers, addressing issues related to customer orders and participating in customer conference calls as needed.
  • Upholds company standards for customer service, confidentiality, and professional conduct, while participating in meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery.
  • Assists with various office tasks and performs additional duties as assigned to support overall team objectives.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience, with 1-2 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent listening, customer relations, and data entry skills; accurate and efficient in handling information.
  • Outgoing, positive personality with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in manufacturing, customer relations, and quality systems required; able to work collaboratively in a team or independently as needed.
