Responsibilities

The Employee/Labor Relations Manager is responsible for managing a range of activities related to Employee/Labor functions. This position provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to employees and management as it relates to Policy, Performance, Pay Practices, Collective Bargaining Agreements, and Labor law. Conducts employee investigations, assists with employee grievances, and maintains all appropriate correspondence with employees. The Employee/Labor Relations Manager provides coaching to managers on the resolution of sensitive employee situations, including performance improvement, disciplinary actions and terminations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources management or related field preferred.2. Three to five years of experience at a management or senior administrative level with emphasis on employee/labor relations. 3. Experience coaching and influencing managers and senior executives4. Knowledge of FLSA, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, OSHA, CAL/OSHA and other HR related regulations.5. Must have strong communication and intrapersonal skills.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
