Marketing & PR Manager - Harrison, OH
Ready to lead bold marketing initiatives, elevate a respected brand, and drive business growth in a fast-paced industrial environment? This is your opportunity.
We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Marketing & PR Manager to take ownership of our marketing strategy, lead generation efforts, brand development, and public relations programs. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, giving you the opportunity to influence company growth, mentor a talented team, and bring cutting-edge products and solutions to market. If you enjoy building campaigns that deliver measurable results, creating compelling stories around technical products, and making a visible impact across an organization, we'd love to hear from you.
We proudly support veterans and military families and strongly encourage U.S. military veterans to apply. The skills developed through military service - such as discipline, technical aptitude, problem-solving under pressure, and accountability - translate exceptionally well into this role and are highly valued at our organization.
About Cincinnati Incorporated:
Cincinnati Incorporated (CI) has been manufacturing industrial machinery since the late 1890s and remains a respected name in the fabrication industry. Our success is built on a culture of integrity, craftsmanship, innovation, and hard work. We take pride in our people and offer a competitive, comprehensive benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.
Position Summary and Purpose:
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on marketing leader with a proven ability to drive lead generation, build brand awareness, and deliver measurable business results. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage a marketing team, collaborate across departments, and develop compelling messaging that resonates with technical and industrial audiences. Success in this role requires strong experience in B2B marketing, public relations, campaign execution, and performance analytics, along with the ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day execution. Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, metal fabrication, or other technical industries is highly preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL:
Directly manage and mentor a team of 3 individual contributors
  • Foster a collaborative, results-oriented team environment; set goals, provide feedback, and support professional growth
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, workload distribution, and performance within the marketing department

Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and refine the company's overall marketing strategy, aligning with business objectives and growth goals
  • Collaborate with product managers to understand product roadmaps, features, and value propositions; execute marketing plans that bring product vision to life through campaigns, content, and collateral
  • Manage multi-channel marketing initiatives, including digital (website, email, SEO/SEM, social media), print, trade shows, and content marketing tailored to B2B industrial audiences (manufacturers, fabricators, OEMs)
  • Oversee event planning and execution in coordination with the Event Coordinator, including trade shows, customer demos, open houses, and sponsorships to generate qualified leads
  • Oversee branding guidelines, maintain brand book and ensure compliance

Lead Generation & Funnel Management
  • Own responsibility for maintaining and optimizing a high-quality lead funnel; track metrics from awareness to conversion
  • Implement and refine lead nurturing programs, marketing automation, and CRM integration to ensure consistent, high-intent leads for the sales team
  • Analyze campaign performance, ROI, and funnel health using tools like Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, and CRM data; recommend improvements to drive better results

Public Relations & Brand Management
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the manufacturing and metal fabrication industries
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry media, trade publications, influencers, and partners; secure earned media coverage (articles, features, case studies)
  • Manage crisis communications when needed and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels

Other Duties
  • Budget management for marketing initiatives and team operations
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing tools/technologies relevant to industrial B2B
  • Support cross-functional projects and contribute to company-wide initiatives as needed

REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
  • Proven track record in B2B marketing, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, machinery, or technical/engineering sectors
  • Experience managing a small team and collaborating with product/senior leadership on strategy
  • Strong understanding of lead generation funnels, marketing automation, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), and digital analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling messaging for technical audiences
  • Proficiency in PR tactics, media relations, and content creation

PREFERRED:
  • Experience in trade show/event marketing and industrial sector PR
