Financial Analyst

Denver, CO

About YES

YES Communities, founded in 2008, owns and operates manufactured housing communities with locations across the United States. YES takes a new approach to manufactured home communities and works to build and maintain an environment in each community that reflects their positive YES attitude.

Life at YES

YES Communities strives to hire a diverse workforce that shares our vision. We empower our employees to develop a strong sense of community because we know that happy, dedicated employees make the difference. Our culture is one where leaders set clear expectations and give you the freedom to manage your goals. We invest in our employees and take pride as we watch them achieve results and make a difference in their roles every day.

Position Summary:

YES is seeking a Financial Analyst to own investor and external reporting. You will lead responses for our institutional investors, coordinating across teams to deliver accurate, timely, well-supported deliverables. Between reporting cycles, you’ll support the annual budget process, forecasting, and financial modeling. This is a highly visible role reporting to the FP&A Manager, ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the centralized point of contact for investor and external reporting requests – own intake, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Manage the recurring investor reporting cycle: reporting calendars, monthly deliverables, and ad hoc requests.
  • Coordinator cross-functional responses across Finance, Business Intelligence, Accounting, Operations, and Asset Management.
  • Reconcile figures across data sources, identifying root causes and improving data quality at the source.
  • Support board materials and executive personations that explain the story behind the numbers.
  • Build and maintain financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, strategic initiatives, and investor reporting.
  • Analyze results, variances, and trends, and connect them to the operational drivers behind them.
  • Drive continuous improvement by partnering with Business Intelligence to automate reporting, standardize metrics, document processes, and strengthen reporting controls.
  • Take on ad hoc analysis and special projects for the FP&A team and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years in FP&A, investor/financial reporting, corporate finance, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Demonstrated financial modeling experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, capital investments, or valuation.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including reconciliations and executive-level presentations.
  • Experience working with large datasets using SQL or similar analytical tools; experience with enterprise reporting platforms such as Adaptive, Incorta, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong financial and accounting foundation; a strong communicator able to package complex analysis clearly for financial, non-financial, senior, and external audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of owning deadline-driven deliverables across multiple functions.
  • Self-motivated and quick to pick up new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Experience supporting institutional investors or REIT reporting strongly preferred; real estate, manufactured housing, or other real-asset experience a plus.

COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $90,000 + 10% annual bonus opportunity
