Work Environment

You will be working in a state-of-the-art outpatient office situated in the heart of Carson City, Nevada. The office is designed to provide a welcoming environment for both staff and clients, featuring open treatment areas for hands-on therapy and private spaces for patient evaluations and consultations. Our regular work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexible scheduling options available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional capacities, employing standardized assessment tools and observational techniques.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that align with the patient's personal goals, preferences, and physical needs, incorporating evidence-based practices.
  • Implement therapeutic strategies, including manual therapies, exercises, and technological modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Deliver patient education on strategies for pain management, improving mobility, and preventing injury, ensuring that patients are active participants in their healing process.
  • Monitor therapy progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to meet patients' evolving needs and issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists, to provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of treatment interventions, outcomes, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
