• Assist physical therapists with patient positioning and equipment setup by preparing necessary tools and therapy areas for efficient therapy sessions.
• Provide hands-on support to patients during therapy exercises, ensuring they are comfortable and confident while performing prescribed movements.
• Keep the clinic organized and hygienic by regularly disinfecting treatment tables and equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in therapy spaces.
• Engage in administrative tasks such as managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and other clerical responsibilities to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Monitor patient progress by observing their performance during exercises, providing guidance, and promptly reporting any concerns to the physical therapists.
• Anticipate and address patient needs to create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes recovery; work closely with patients to encourage adherence to their therapy plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient treatment sessions in electronic health records, supporting therapists in maintaining up-to-date information on patient progress.

Our rehabilitation center caters to a diverse patient population seeking recovery from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. As a Rehabilitation Aide, you will interact with patients of various ages and backgrounds, each with unique rehabilitation goals. Your role involves not only providing physical support but also fostering a motivational environment that promotes patient engagement and adherence to their recovery programs.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of some college courses related to healthcare or physical therapy may be beneficial.
• While prior experience is not mandatory, exposure to a medical or physical therapy environment is highly desirable.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred). This credential will enhance your ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach are essential for fostering positive relationships with patients and the healthcare team.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy clinical setting, ensuring that all aspects of patient care and clinic operations are addressed promptly.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, assist patients as necessary during therapy sessions, and handle the mobility of equipment as required.

• Experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting, particularly in physical therapy or rehabilitation contexts.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling tasks would be an advantage.
