Job description

Position Summary: Manages and provides technical support for a variety of environmental, health, and safety projects, specializing in safety regulatory compliance. Position Responsibilities: Manage safety compliance projects to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and satisfaction of client needs Conduct facility safety compliance audits and inspections Develop safety programs/manuals and assist with implementation Conduct worksite safety inspections and incident investigations Conduct PPE assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), and job hazard analyses (JHAs) Conduct training for a variety of safety topics for both external clients and internal employees Maintain knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, NFPA and other applicable general industry and construction safety regulations Participate on the emergency response team Develop knowledge of client facilities and operations Provide customer service to a variety of client representatives and local, state, and federal agencies Perform project management related tasks, such as cost and budget estimation, planning, and scheduling Participate in preparing proposals Contact and contract with various subcontractors Supervise 1-4 technicians on projects Assist with other environmental, health, and safety projects Develop and maintain knowledge of other environmental, health, and safety regulations Operate motor vehicles safely and in accordance with applicable regulations Provide additional support as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in related field AND 5 years experience in the safety and health field

Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, and NFPA regulations Computer Skills - Strong computer skills, particularly using Microsoft Office applications Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation and public speaking skills Organizational Skills - Excellent organization and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail Interpersonal Skills - Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills Driving - Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record Certifications - 40-hour HAZWOPER training
Professional certification (ASP, CSP, etc.) preferred
10-hour or 30-hour OSHA General Industry and/or Construction preferred
OSHAS 18001 Auditor certification preferred
