  • Partner with engineers, operations personnel, and business leaders to ensure compliance requirements are understood and implemented.

  • Coordinate and support internal assessments and external compliance audits.

  • Develop and maintain compliance documentation, procedures, evidence, and reporting.

  • Perform compliance reviews, risk assessments, and internal control testing.

  • Investigate potential compliance issues and assist with mitigation planning.

  • Monitor industry developments, regulatory updates, alerts, and implementation guidance.

  • Knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards or electric utility regulatory compliance.

  • Experience in operations, engineering, maintenance, risk management, auditing, or compliance.

  • Experience working with compliance management systems, document management systems, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software.

  • Project management or audit experience is a plus.

What Makes You Successful

You'll thrive in this position if you:

  • Enjoy learning complex technical and regulatory requirements.

  • Take ownership of projects from planning through completion.

  • Can analyze information and identify practical solutions.

  • Build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and enjoy finding more effective and efficient ways to work.

Travel & Work Environment

  • Hybrid work environment with office-based at AECI Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.

  • Occasional overnight travel for training, audits, or industry meetings.

  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when business needs require.
