PositionSummary
Working under the general supervision of the Manager of Regulatory Affairs, the Regulatory AffairsAssistant supports the company's regulatory compliance efforts by ensuringadherence to state and federal water regulations, internal policies, andreporting requirements. This role involves maintaining accurate records,assisting with audits, and coordinating with internal teams to ensurecompliance standards are met.
SpecificResponsibilities
Assist in monitoring compliance with Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and other regulatory requirements.
Assist in preparation of applications and filings such as pass through charge filings, CCN filings, annual reports, system improvement charge filings, and Sale, Transfer, Merger applications
Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries and preparing submissions
Assist in responding to PUCT complaints
Prepare reporting for the Texas Water Development Board
Stay informed on changes in water regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams
Lead special projects and initiatives assigned by senior leadership
RequiredKnowledge Skills & Abilities
Very strong interpersonal and social skills
Very strong analytical skills
Strong reading comprehension, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

RequiredEducation and Experience

Experience: 1-2 years in compliance, regulatory affairs, or administrative support preferred (water industry experience a plus).
Other Requirements
Familiarity with TCEQ regulations and water utility compliance standards.
Understanding of environmental reporting and permitting processes.
Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record.
Normal office physical activity required while utilizing standard office machines.
