Job description

Role Purpose: Own hands-on ISP and platform quality validation for unreleased and existing Apple devices, ensuring functional quality, regression confidence and disciplined release readiness across supported operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Create and execute functional and regression test plans for ISP features across device and OS combinations.

• Validate new builds on pre-production hardware and capture complete evidence for defects and retest outcomes.

• Review automation output, identify false positives or coverage gaps, and recommend follow-up manual validation.

• Partner with Apple engineering and quality teams to reproduce, isolate, prioritise and close defects.

• Maintain secure test execution, device handling and pre-submission validation practices.

• 7+ years in functional QA, device QA, imaging/ISP validation or embedded platform testing.

• Strong experience with iOS/macOS or comparable device ecosystem testing and defect lifecycle tools.

• Ability to interpret logs, automation results and test evidence without heavy supervision.

• Excellent written defect documentation, reproduction steps and stakeholder communication.

• Comfortable working in secure lab/device environments with strict confidentiality controls.
