STUDIO OVERVIEW

Serasana means To Be Healthy and our mission is to create a community of hope and healing. Serasana St Johns is a Wellness Studio that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in rejuvenation through stress and pain management by blending acupuncture, yoga, massage, facials, healing tea and remedies.


We are looking for yoga instructors to join our team. Our environment is unique--we have a beautiful tea bar and a thoughtful retail selection that supports our clients on their journey to wellness. We have a gorgeous studio, space for private and semi-private yoga sessions.


Our weekly class schedule may include (but not limited to): Power, Hatha, Yin, Slow Flow, Gentle, Restorative Yoga and Meditation.


We are located at 70 Silver Forest Drive, Ste 109, St. Augustine, FL 32092.We are eager to show you our beautiful space!


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the Serasana model of health and wellness, and work together with fellow team members to help our clients take full advantage of available offerings
  • Create safe and effective yoga sequences for the style of yoga taught, prepare the room, greet clients, ensure clients registered correctly, and instruct asana verbally and through appropriate physical demonstrationas needed.
  • Stayandanswer questions after class, make announcements, promote workshops, and straighten room before leaving. This includes folding blankets, rolling straps, sweeping studio and sanitizing rented mats
  • Provide personal mobile device with class playlist
  • Assist in building participants through marketing activities
  • Monitor studentsand modify their poses using verbal cues, physical demonstration or lastly hands-on adjustments, to maximize their potential and avoid injury


QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 50 group classes taught
  • Great compassion and communication skills, advanced knowledge of yoga, basic knowledge of acupuncture, massage and tea
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and announcing upcoming events and studio specials
  • Aminimum of 200 hours of formal yoga teacher training
  • Current personal liability insurance as yoga instructor


REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to physically demonstrate any asana included in your sequence
  • Report to work free of any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol
