Helping others achieve balance, strength, and overall well-being starts with knowledgeable instruction, genuine encouragement, and a passion for movement. We are looking for a Yoga / Yoga Sculpt Instructor who is energetic, engaging, and committed to creating exceptional class experiences through expert instruction and outstanding hospitality.
In this role, you will be an essential part of the guest experience at AquaVie Fitness & Wellness Club, inspiring members and guests through thoughtfully designed yoga and yoga sculpt classes that promote strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and overall wellness in a luxury fitness environment.
What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:
Every class is an opportunity to inspire, educate, and motivate members while delivering the elevated service AquaVie is known for. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading engaging and effective Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, and recovery-based classes for participants of all experience levels.
  • Designing balanced classes that incorporate strength, mobility, flexibility, breathwork, and mindfulness.
  • Providing modifications and progressions to accommodate varying fitness levels, abilities, and physical limitations.
  • Educating participants on proper breathing techniques, body alignment, safe movement patterns, and injury prevention.
  • Coaching participants through Yoga Sculpt classes using light dumbbells and approved studio equipment while ensuring proper form and technique.
  • Following established AquaVie class formats while bringing your own energy, creativity, and teaching style.
  • Creating a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating environment that encourages confidence, consistency, and member retention.
  • Arriving prepared with music, equipment setup, and class programming prior to each scheduled class.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe studio environment before and after each class.
  • Reporting damaged or unsafe equipment to leadership promptly.
  • Promoting AquaVie programs, services, wellness initiatives, and special events.
  • Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Assisting with additional duties as needed to support overall AquaVie Fitness & Wellness Club operations.

What We're Looking For:
  • Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification and/or Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200 or higher) required.
  • Ability and willingness to teach both traditional Yoga and Yoga Sculpt classes.
  • Current CPR/AED Certification required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of yoga or group fitness instruction experience preferred.
  • Experience cueing both yoga movement and strength-based training in a group fitness environment.
  • Ability to safely demonstrate yoga postures, strength exercises, and proper movement mechanics.
  • Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
  • Experience teaching Vinyasa, Power Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Heated Yoga, or similar formats preferred.
  • Additional certifications in mobility, recovery, meditation, or breathwork are a plus.
  • Flexible availability includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

  • Assists with additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, squat, balance, and demonstrate yoga postures and strength exercises throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift and move fitness equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to safely demonstrate proper yoga techniques, strength exercises, and movement modifications.
  • Ability to remain active and mobile throughout the workday.
  • Ability to verbally instruct and motivate participants while maintaining awareness of class safety.

Additional Information
This is a non-exempt hourly position. A flexible schedule is required based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
