Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Radiology Registered Nurses (RN) to support imaging and interventional radiology services on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, procedural setting and are comfortable supporting patients through diagnostic and interventional procedures.


Shifts

(7aโ€“7p / 7pโ€“7a)

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after radiology procedures
  • Administer IV medications, sedation, and contrast per protocol
  • Assist with CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology (IR), and special procedures
  • Provide patient education and ensure informed consent
  • Assess and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation


Requirements

  • Active RN license (state-specific)
  • BLS (AHA required)
  • ACLS preferred / may be required
  • Minimum 1โ€“2 years of Radiology, IR, or Critical Care experience
  • Strong IV and sedation experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
