Job description

Rezolut Imaging is looking for a Temp Registered Nurse to join our team at Schuylkill Medical Imaging!
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM | Position Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00

Job Summary

The RN must possess radiology experience to include contrast reaction coverage. The successful candidate will possess advanced clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.

Job Duties

The following job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:    

  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare providers to plan, prepare, and oversee a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety.  
  • Assist with contrast injections as required.    
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of the ACR treatment algorithms as they pertain to contrast-induced allergic and physiologic reactions. Manage acute hypersensitivity and physiologic drug reactions.
  • Administer oxygen, required medications and position changes as required.   Monitor patients as needed.  
  • Exercise sound judgment in determining when to activate emergency response measures and demonstrate proficiency in recognizing situations that require immediate assistance or emergency intervention.
  • Assist with facility processes, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing education to enhance procedural skills, promote patient safety, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to staff members, providing guidance, education, and support related to radiology procedures and patient care techniques.
  • Assist staff in obtaining and analyzing operative reports, implant/device documentation, patient medical history, lab work results, prior imaging results, etc. 

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in critical care, radiology, or a related specialty area.  
  • Certification in radiology nursing (CRN) preferred.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).   
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making in high-stress situations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, guidelines, and best practices related to radiology procedures and patient safety.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and promoting positive patient outcomes and satisfaction.
